Rosemary, native to the rocky shores of the Mediterranean, is prized as a culinary complement and also for its essential oil. Our rosemary is grown in Spain, in small cultivations in the Mediterranean area and is selected, sieved and cut.
Its intense aroma means that the most widespread use of rosemary is as a condiment in numerous recipes to enhance the flavour of food. In the Alicante area it is widely used for the famous ‘rice with rabbit and snails’.
Utility: for meat recipes with a strong flavour (lamb, pork, beef…), oven-roasted fish, vegetables, in sautéed dishes, stews, soups, sauces, stir-fries, pastas, rice dishes and cheeses.
