Propolis is a substance created by bees when they make honey. It consists of tree resin, wax, essential oils and pollen. They use it to protect the hive and seal the gaps. This substance is modified by these insects providing nutrients and properties that are beneficial to health (anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and antiviral).
